New to the site! Just wanted to give a shout and say hi. Im from Alberta, Canada, about 1000 MILES (!!!

) from ANY coast, which totally SUCKS because surfing is believe it or not, my number one passion. It's all I think about.. ever since my first ride. I watched In God's Hands, bought a ticket to San Diego many years ago, went for my first ride and was hooked ever since. I go at least once a year (except last year

) for a few days of PACKED IN surfing. So, all you die hards, consider yourself LUCKY because Im totally jealous! Im Geographically declined

. BUT it doesn't stop me, soooo.... here I am! Im 23 y/o, female... So yeah. Hi! Im actually looking to get a board, and I happed upon this place. Rental fees suck A$$, so I need to get one so I can practice pop-ups in between, lol! (Or just sit and stare at it-or lick it- while I dream of surfing). ANYWAYS, long hello, eh? nice to be here

Oy lads! Didi here from South Africa, Started surfing about two months ago and can't get enough. Doing about 12h of surfing a week

I'm a web developer in the beautiful city of Cape Town, and no, I have not yet dared the famous J-Bay yet, but obviously planning on going ASAP

Got a 6'7" shortboard (I'm 5'11", 140lbs) - Yes I know it's too small, but I went for the first month or so with a 7'8 minimal, and after a while I found that I wasn't falling off enough, so I bought myself the shortboard, which I am very please about.

39 year old currently living too far from the sea in England- but taking a 7 month surf trip to celebrate my 40th bday- actually from my 40th in early June to my (surfing) girlfriend's 40th early in January. (girlfriend seems a lame term for someone I've lived with for 14 years)

Who wants to work for a living - it's seriously overated

Other than surfing I snowboard (annual month long trips to that sweet Rocky Mountain Pow) and paint (pictures not walls)
