Surfing Waves

Hi, I ve just noticed a 4"x 1" ding on the nose of my longboard, the surface is all cracked and has been slightly pushed in, I don't think any water has got in, its a 9' fibreglass lonboard, what would be the best way to repair this, if I do it myself are the repair kits made for different construction or will any repair kit do? Cheers

Dents on the surface could just be pressure marks.

as im a complete cheap skate aslong as it wasnt a gaping hole in my board i would either put some wax in it or tape it. but if it was a proper hole im my board i would fix it

Kits come in types for the board construction - either PU or epoxy. Use the right kit for your board. The PU ones for fibreglass are the normal ones for custom boards so you wont have any trouble getting a kit for your fibreglass board.

You can get either a suncure type kit (ie it hardens in the sun) or a 'proper' kit with resin and catalyst, fibreglass etc. If its a big ding, then probably best to go for the bigger kit.
