Well im selling whole bunch of stuff to pay for a new shortboard. Im going for a custom design 6'4 what do you think of the design ive been toying around with. By the way i used a typical shortboard shape and photoshopped it (badly though)

I like it but if it was me i'd have it sprayed on the bottom of the board not the deck where it will never get spoiled by the wax job. Shouldn't be too hard to spray that one either.

looks pretty sweet, i've been trying to design mine, i know what i want, its just to hard to draw (did you design those pictures, or are they off the internet or something??)

im still messing around with which side to have graphics on. I kinda like the idea of an all white deck. So i might get the graphics put on the back. A friend of mine has the chinese tatoo and another one has the dragon. liked em both so i nabbed em

With any luck i should scrounge the money in a week. Just sold my longboard - now to sell a guitar and my funboard.

I could actualy get it done right now but i want 2 custom boards - a 6'4 shortboard and probably a 7'6 mal

i personally prefer the second design but if the dragon was smaller like half the size or something

i like that one quite a lot without shrinking the dragon on the bottom. a design on the bottom should take up the whole board whereas on the top theres not a lot of point as most of it will be covered by wax.

I like the second one better too, but make sure the writing says something cool and relevant and not ,"I blow goats" or similar. :lol:

Yeah i think im going for the second design. Ive almost made enogh cash if my funboard sells today and my guitar then ill put in the order sometime next week.

As for adding meanifull text ive been toying around with a few.

"veni vidi Vici" (i can i saw i conquered) But that kinda sounded lame :lol:

Heres me looking for something obscure to put :lol:

So, did you get it yet???

Both designs are cool. As for not having a design on the deck because of the wax...I think as long as you don't smear the wax all over the board, the design will come through. I can see and read the logos on the decks of my boards just fine.

Yep its all been ordered up - spent a good 90 minutes with shaper. Gonna take 2-3 weeks. Getting a 6'4 shortboard and a 7'6 mal all for around $1000 - considering i sold a bunch of boards an a guitar the whole thing is only costing me $250 out of my own pocket

Will post pics when i get the finished boards :mexwave:
