How to get wax off

I have bought myself a traction pad and was wonderering the best way to get the wax off my board

i scrape mine off with an old credit card and then give it a wipe over withh a cloth

White spirit would help too !!

You can get wax remover...its like paint thinner. Though I dunno what would be the equal for just a normal cleaner. I use a thing called the pickle. Just one of those gimick things, but damm it if it doesnt work great.

lighter fluid helps dissolve the wax, so if you rub it on it'll make it easier to scrape the wax off your board.

I use white spirit to get the final residue off with a thickly woven cloth.

Set out your board in the hot summer sun, wait a half hour, then go wipe it off.
But I never understood the allure of traction pads.

I found a nifty tool for getting wax off. You know those metail scrapers that painters / builders use well they come in plastic too. Much better than a credit card or wax comb.

wax comb,boiling water and white spirit, works every time
