Leash Question

Ok so heres my board but i cant thread my leash through:

I am guessing i need a leash plug but was never given one by my shaper. If so, can you find them online?[/img]

erm looks like theres a leash plug on your board. ie just above the tail in the middle...

Its because you put a small piece of rope/string through first, tie a knot (mine are actually melted together), and then fit the leash to that loop.
You're not supposed to try and fit the leash directly onto the plug, its way to small.
No leash plug? What did you think that thing at the tail was? :lol:

my past boards have had slightly different plugs that were a little bigger (and looked like the one in the "how to" section) and when i couldnt thread the leash through i was confused. My last board actually had a plug i could attach onto the board above a similar opening by the tail.

so your saying to use another piece of rope that attaches directly to the plug before looping in the leash? The leash doesnt actually attach?

the link that scuba steve kindly found for you explains it all, yes you need a seperate cord.
