Postby surfsc77 » Thu Apr 12, 2007 2:42 am

my 8 foot leash broke for my 6' 8" board today, but i have a 6 foot leash laying around. is it that too short for the board length, it seems like it but im not sure. can i use the 6 foot or should i go buy another longer one.

taking it that you broke an 8 foot leash, i guess your surfing in pretty stroing waves.
I think the 6 foot leash is ok for smaller surf, but i ould recommend a longer one for bigger days.

from everything i have been told about leash length is that it should approximately the same length as the board, not too long or it could get tangled.
