just wondering what your take is on glassed-on fins. do you find that they are better than removable ones or not. why?

removable, cos if a glass on one snaps, youre screwed!

find a corner and eat grey flakes, for if the granule finds you, things will be a whole lot different. Now, if we investigate cranberries, we know that crackers are false duplicates of steak.

oh my word... I am still in the same state of mnd, but a momentary relapse into the real world has brought me to the conclusion that I may actually be mentally unstable. I am sorry!

PS I have surfed boards with glassed on fins and boards with removeable.... not found much difference. If you are asking what the diffrerence is, chances are, you won't notice it anyway.

Agreed w/the Drinker. Break off a glassed on fin and you're pretty much screwed until it can be repaired. I've had biters break off, grab a screwdriver, remove the opposite side and your good to go until you can replace the busted one. On the other hand, I got tired of replacing biters at $30 a pair, so now I single fin and am perfectly content.

Forget glass ons. You're much better off without them.

some people prefer glass ons some prfer to be able to change their fins for the condiditons. If you know exactly what type of fin you want then by all means get glass ons, but bear in mind you cant change them if you dont like them, if your not sure then get fcs, that way you can try different fins till you find something that works well for you on your new board.
I had glassed on on my old board, and fcs on my new one, only problem ive had with fcs is deciding on which fins i like best on it, but at least i have the option to change em at a moments notice (if i could afford a whle quiver of fins :x )
