I'm thinking about going the route of something like this:

3 fins, 6'3". Was curious if anyone knows of anything similar I could look into?

Nice board aside from the stepped in rail. Bit unecessary.

I've got a 6'6 surftech randy french model hybrid fish - very similar to that board, but without the gimmicky step

They're loads of fun, and they're right when they say that they're great for rubbish days and making the best out of whats there.

They dont surf steep waves very well (they're great on big and fat, but dont like steep) and they can be affected by chop due to the flat rocker. But they are loadsa fun :D

Cool, thanks for the input, guys. I didn't think about the choppy conditions that might cause problems.

I have a Neilson Hybrid Fish, and I love it ( in the right conditions). It is my "go to" board for small mush, med. mush to good, and even bigger mushy rollers. If it gets too steep it tends to want to roll over. The rails aren't sharp enough to hold the line when it is steep. It is also slower at turns than a shorty, so it won't "snap" the lip very well. But when the waves aren't that good, and you still want to have fun, theeese are the boards to go with , I.M.O. .
