Board Bag advice..

Postby Laguna » Sat Dec 02, 2006 6:28 pm

Does anyone know what the creatures of leisure boardbags are like? Ive heard they make really good bags. I want a bag for a 6'3 board but the sizes only come in 6'3 and 6'7, so would you think a 6'7 is ok or slightly to big?
Ive found a website online that sell only creatures bags and since im already buying a new tailpad from them if I get my bag from them then I wont have to pay p&p. :D

i got one, and it pretty good and much cheaper than the others i saw available when i was lookin. Had it two years and recently one of the little thingies on the zipper broke but thats not a problem.

Surely for a 6-3 you want 6-3 bag? unless your planning to travel and want the space for extra padding? i think city surf stock em, why not take your board down to see how well it fits.

You would think that but I think it would be too much of a tight fit. Wouldn't it? My 6'10 fills my 7'0 bag. But that might just be because its a 6'10 funboard in a 7'0 bag.

Creatures make the best bags in my opinion. I really like the fact the zip doesn't go around the rails as so many bags do and the build quality is excellent.

Ye i really like creatures bags. They protect your board well. I ordered the 6'3 - should fit perfect.

I got a 10mm thick one for xmas.

It's a 6'7 for my 6'6. Unfortunately my bloody parents didn't get me the gusseted one, but I can still get the board in with its fins on. Without fins there would be loads of extra space, so I reckon the 6'3 would be perfect for you.

As for quality I think it's way better than rhino or dakine ones of the same price.

Ye its a really nice bag and the 6'3 fits perfect. However I cant fit my board in the bag with the fins on, because the fins + tailpad create too much bulk and I dont want to force zip the bag closed.
