Ding

Hey guys I just got my first board, its used but in great condition. anyways it has two dings in the rail, I just wanna know what is should use to fix it, are the solarez good enough to patch this dings? dosent look too deep. Im not sure if my board is a poly board or epoxy anyone have an idea? I suck at taking pictures but here are the dings

dings dont look to bad, if you have money to spend get it proffesionaly repaired but a ding kit should do. I think its fiberglass, is it light?
im not sure about the fiberglass, dont listen to me

A bit of suncure on that will do the job. :roll:

make sure u get a good patch of fiberglass and resin on it after the filler resin or it will break and leak water in its happened to me and there is loads of water in my old board now sun cure will do the job

yah its poly, the seller just replied back. Im going surfing tmrw so I just patched it up with duct tape for the time being.

I live far from the ocean unfortunately so no surf shop in my town. What can I use to patch it temporarily without the water getting in?

Yeah, duct tape does work to a degree.

My favorite, fill with wax, put some duct tape on top.

But that means you have to do a real repair, by grinding it out so all the wax gets out.

But the wax is hydro-phobic, so it repels water out.
