I'm looking at board that his some dings and a small hole just off the lefthand rail up by the nose on the bottom. The board is fiberglass shaped from a Clark Foam Blank.

Question 1: What would be a good type of resin will be need for the dings Ding All or Sun Cure are is there another brand out there.

The hole looks like a line carck with a dime size hole at the end, also theis another small hole just to the side of the frist one.

Question 2: Will a fiberglass patch need to be put in place wet down dry, sand and then recoat with clear glass or can you just fill it with resin and hope for the best.

Any thoughts on this.

Thanks.

depending on how deep it is, you need to tape off, sand down, mix resin and glass bubbles, fill, cure, sand, re glass, grind edges, hotcoat.

And if you sanded down far enough the first time, it should come out flat.

Sounds like small repairs - the cost would be the price of a tube of solar activated resin. A full-on mixing kit would probably be overkill, but you could do that, too. Both are rather inexpensive.

You can get a pint of resin and hardener for under 10 bucks, so if it's the deciding factor on buying a board, don't hesitate.

I do like the suncure stuff. Quick and easy, especially if you put the plastic on top.
