Hey, im a beginner, im 115 Lbs., i'm aboout 5'8" and i surf long island. i recently found a used 6'4" Sharpeye surfboard it seemed about 2 inches thick and it was pretty wide. what do you think of it?

ok im very similar to you in size and in weight. it should do depending on how long you have been surfing. You should have atleast surfed 2-3 weeks.

i've been surfing for about one summer on a water logged 5'10" shortboard from 1980

if u say u have been riding a shortbord and that it id thick and wide it will be fine it will take abit of grtting used too
