My friend has a Billabong 5 4 3 and it gave him nothing but trouble with holes and splitting at the bottom of the legs, I recently purchased a C-Skin 5 4 3, fantastic suit, really superior to my old Alder with a lot of manouverability and warmer.

I wear the Billa-Bong oscilator 5-4-3mm, great suit and warm too, If the solution gold is a good as mine you should have no worries.

Hope this helps :D

i have an oscillator 5-3 too, not had any problems with it in 2 years seams all still good.

remember in the land of the wetsuits the quality of the fit is king, try a few on first, if its loose in places (specially the wrists or ankles) then its not gonna be any good for you, find one or two that fis good- then worry about the seam quality etc.

Try an Xcel Infinity 5/4/3, thats my next purchase. Currently got an O'neill Psycho 2 and its got leaky seams now after 3 years.

What bit of the North Sea you gonna be surfing?

Surely the north sea in winter would be getting close to dry suit weather? just watch out for those pointy rocks...

yeah, i was gonna mention snugg, if you got the money to spend a custom made wetsuit is a cracking investment, i had one a few years back when i couldnt find an off the peg suit which i was happy with in terms of fit, warmest wetsuit suit i ever wore. I also had a fleece-lined sola (semi)dry-suit before that which was unbelivable, i used to get damp inside it but that was from sweating cos it was sooo warm, only problem is when the seams do eventually start to go and water trickles in it almost impossible to fix and doesnt work half as well.
