My New Board

Xanadu - Squid
5'8" x 21" x 2.25" (FYI - I'm 5'7", 150lbs)
Top
Bottom
Rocker
Fins & Tail
I got it Sunday; and of course there were no waves until Wednesday.
It is deffinately different, and took a little while to get used to. It was a little weird paddling around on that thing. The whole board is under water. None of that "keep the nose an inch or so out of the water". It was more working paddling around than my shortboard (6'6" x 19.5" x 2.5"), but not bad.
I was concerned that it would be too advanced for me, but no worries anymore. I managed a decent session for my first time out on it. It gets into waves fairly easily once you figure out your positioning on the board. It's really loose and pretty fast too; turns can be real tight if you want.
I can't wait to get back on it again, but I'm going to have to (no waves).
Soooo stoked!
