if u dont mind, can u give me a number?? i want a board that will make it easy for me to ride (stable), but that will also lend itself to turning and cutbacks.

hi i think the length of board you should be looking at is about 7 foot then if you want to do cutbacks etc, and probably a progressive or fun board.

its gonna be very hard work to begin with but if you're determined, then get it...how close to the beach do you live? how often would you be surfing? 3 times a week or thereabouts, and you're willing to graft, i'd say go for it, but if you're only surfing once a month i think that you'd probably do best to wait for something a little bit longer.

yea, i had already stood up with a rented board... but i could only stand up on white water... now i can get a real wave about 1 out of every five waves. so, yea, im doing pretty good progress (i think...)
