Fin damage

Is a board with repaired fin damage worth anything? What are the risks/consequences if the damage is not repaired correctly? A bad fin would totally kill the ride, no?

A badly repaired fin is not good. However fins can be reattached to a board no problem and will be as good as new if done correctly. Or the glass on fins can be removed entirely and a set of removeables can be installed. If the board is a really good board then it's worth it but if you don't know how good the board is then i'd say don't get it but get something else instead that is intact.

Cheers KS
