The thing about that thing is..........everyone will know your where your key is !!!!

A hammer blow could possibly relieve you of your car and everything inside!!

Why not just get a copy of your key, without the electronics, leave your immobiliser key in the car somewhere and tie your copy key onto your wettie or put it in the pocket of your shorts.

A better solution methinks!

ive got one of them surflock things, i attach it to the underneath of the car somewhere so its out of sight.

Though if someone nicked my car they'd be doing me a favour. Maybe I should leave the keys in it

yep i got a similar one, mine is bigger and sturdier looking than that tho, dont think i could fit my keys inside that one. No chance you could get in there with a hammer, would take an angle grinder and a few hours to get into mine.

ive got a surflock for my car keys. it works great. it has a little hole at the bottom so your keys can stick out! it is very very strong and I highly doubt a hammer blow could get through it. I highyl reccommend it!

It might keep somone from stealing your car, but if they just want in, a busted window works everytime.

I use a waterproof pouch, that I wear around my neck and just push it under the back of my wetsuit. Works great and is way cheaper!

yes, but theres no way to stop that, i never take anything valuable in my car to the beach because of that. This time of year the carparks are pretty crowded tho so smashing a window is not a worry, besides the thieves are too busy nicking stuff from the guy they saw hiding his keys under the tyre (yes lots of people still do that)

Your Surf Lock is factory tested and set to 0-0-0-0.

1. Open the lock. Remove the sticker on the back and move the change lever to the upper right-hand corner (fig. 1 at rightt).

2. Set the dials to the desired combination.

3. Move the change lever back to the original position (fig. 2). The combination is now set.

4. Do not forget your combination!

Aren't ALL combination padlocks changed this way? Surely if someone was desperate enough to want to steal a car/belongings, all they'd have to do is have that ^^ list of instructions to reset the combination again.

you DO know that every boardshort and wetsuit out there has a little string in teh pockets on the inside where the comb used to be. i just tie the string through my key and wear it when i surf...

and if you're worried about taking immobiizers and electronic keys in the water, you can buy the denko pak pak (i love this thing!) which keeps everything completely waterproof and slips into the back of your wetsuit. It's like a rubber wallet that creates a vacuum inside. I've seen people take cigarettes and a lighter in the water in these and sit on the sand after a surf and smoke them!! Keeps it all bone dry...

Why arent we allowed to legally smash the f**k out of these theiving Bast**ds!!!

In the last 6 months I've had my car broken into (front passenger window smashed) , I've had my campervan windscreen nicked.....the whole windscreen!! along with my tax disc and parking permit...I got a parking ticket as well for not displaying a permit, I've had the back window of my camper smashed, I've had my camper tagged, I've also got a transit van which was tagged all down the side of the whole van!!!

I've also had a kid who was running away from mugging someone, smash into the side of my car putting a dent in the wing.........he went flying in the air, landed on the ground, got up and carried on running away!!!

Cost me a lot of money to sort these things out

BUT......the thing is if I go and sort these f**kers out with my baseball bat, I get nicked and the police will try for the maximum charge of attempted murder......c**ts!!!

we should do what the smugglers down here used to do to grasses- bury them up to their necks on the beach just below the high water line, then sit there drinking rum while we watch the tide come in over their heads.

:D :D :D :D

I'm all up for that!!!!

But can I drink a nice refreshing Portugese Rose instead of Rum?

I dont like rum.

The thing is, if the old bill are monitoring this website, they'll use it as evidence if anyone is ever found up to their necks in the sand :?

yes you can drink whatever you like as long as it was smuggled in tax free and hidden in a cave (just for traditions sake obviously)
