I've been looking at these Channel Islands boards for a while and I need some advise.. I have a 6'8" round nose I've been riding for a while now. It turns pretty easy but I cant get enough speed going down the line to pull a cutback. I think it has too much rocker. Dimensions are 6'9", 21", 23/4"..

I also have a Robert August 9'6" single fin nose rider that I'm very comfortable with in large surf. I've been riding this for 15 years. Been to Costa Rica, Baja and Northern Cal. I love just carving down the line. I love to pull fat bottom turns and really pump down the line and getting some speed. I'm curious how forgiving these are:

I've been looking into these two boards.

Does anyone have any advise as to which one I might have more fun with? Anyone have one?

Cheers!

I'm interested in the 6'9"... At 22" wide and 3" thick it sounds like it's pretty easy to get into waves.. It seems like a short log!
