Is there something I'm doing wrong? My black wetsuit has the biggest white stain on the chest and under the armpit due to the wax..
Am I using the wrong surf wax? Or am I putting too much on? I've been using stickybumps.

You have to have wax for the correct temperature.
If it melts too easy, because the water's a bit warmer than what the wax is designed for .. you gonna get some cheeze all over ya.
oh ya!

LMFAO...I can imagine a marshmallow on a surfboard...lmfao..
Wahey...One of my friends gave me a tip on wax.. If you put them in the freezer the night before, the wax you apply on the board it sticks much more..and doesnt turn into slippy stuff after an hour out!

the water here has been jumping from 55 to 67 within the same week.. It's crazy. I figured it was the type of wax. What do you recommend?

Are you kidding? The water here is always a yellow/green...
The bathrooms are too far from the water anyway.

Check out Malibu Longboards web site, they carry Kronic Surf Wax. Its the best I've ever used, and its an all temp wax. Well its good from 52 to 85 degrees. If the waters colder than 60 my @ss stays on the beach anyhow.
