going from long to short

how easy is it going from a long borad to a short one and do u have any tips

my advice would be to take it gradual.. if you can get on a funshape or a fish before you go right to a shortboard it will make it more enjoyable.. dont get frustrated, because its not always easy...

You maybe alright even going to a longer shortboard like 6'8" or 6'6" (I probably wouldn't try anything shorter than that).
You'll find out that everything is done faster and is more critical.

For my clients that are interested in a transition board I recommend our Hybrid model. This is an extremely versatile board and will work great for getting you into shortboarding and will be an awesome investment for your quiver.

i have a m8 who went from long to short and he got a 6'4 egg, its realy line, lime green
