salamon S-core boards

has anyone had a go on the new salamon s-core boards.
my m8 who is semi sponserd my salamon hes got one and they are soo cool, their super light and so easy to duck dive.

You can be semi-sponsored by not being given the boards for free but may get it at trade rates or something... actually that would still be classed as 'sponsored' so I guess you're right! :?
Maybe he means 'semi-pro'? :lol:

I was thinking of getting one , just for the quiver :D. Ive seen quite a few people riding them up at deewhy and mona vale.

I noticed a guy with a snapped board in the car park the other day (the surf was only around the 4ft mark).
We got talking and he said it was one of those Salomon Boards.
He was pretty annoyed with it because he was told the were super tough!
I am now pretty skeptical about them now 'cos the surf that day was nothing an average glass board couldn't handle. :?:

I remember when Salomon entered the snowboarding scene with good boards back in 96/97.

Sweet boards, but they didn't last long. Steel edge would fall off, the pop in the board was gone after about 40-50 days of riding, it was delaminating, and the boards snapped in half.

Seems like we might go trough a Salomon era in the surf scene as well.
