Surfracks on a pick up

aight so i use to just toss my surfboards in the back of my pick up but now i got a tool box in there and cant do it.....ok so now i need some advice on what kind of racks to put on my truck...if there are ones that dont require me to drill besides those cheesy strap ones...thanks

I've always had that worry- I kinda need to get a pickup for other stuff, but I always worried if I could fit a log in the back. I've seen those things that painters use to put ladders on top, it seems that you could put some pads on that and it would work. they kinda have little poles that stick into the top of the wall of the bed, look at your truck, theres probably two holes in it. don't really like the look, but gotta do whatcha gotta do, well atleast for surfing. :D

I don't have a pick-up, but I have seen some that have tailgate pads...and have the boards leaning on the tailgate with some sort of strap on there to hold it from bouncing around.
