I’m a novice surfer and this is my first hard board so would welcome advice. I cracked the rail of my new board. It’s PU construction. When I suck air comes out. I’ve been quoted £85 for repair. Is this something I could sand and solarez. Thanks in advance

Perhaps I just don't know how to use solarez on a rail but it hasn't worked well for me on rails
