Hi guys,

I want to buy a new board and would appreciate your advice.

About me :
181cm (5'11) , 75Kg (165LBS), Age - 38, good fit, intermediate-advance, surfing once a month approx [actually now with the kids its harder :( ] .

I usually surf on beach breaks and sometimes point.

My daily driver is an excellent groveler (Fire-Wire Chumlee) and looking for a board that will suit those days when we have a 4ft-5.5ft wind swell.

What I'm looking for in a board: Easier to paddle and more forgiving in catching waves.

I thought that CHILLI - VOLUME II, JS -Monsta 2020 Squash Tail Easy Rider, Firewire - Cymatic could be a decent fit.

What do you recommend, and what volume would be good for me?

Thanks, guys!

Of the boards listed,
CHILLI - VOLUME II
JS -Monsta 2020 Squash Tail Easy Rider
Firewire - Cymatic .........

...... the Fire Wire Chumlee would definitely be the easiest to paddle and most forgiving when catching waves.

Thanks! The Chumlee is fantastic but not suited for those bigger days.

How about first changing the fin set on the Chumlee ? If you have it currently set up as a Quad, maybe try it as a Thruster which might help in bigger waves, since the rail is so thick.
