Firewire LFT Repair

Postby Naeco78 » Mon Sep 06, 2021 4:01 am

Anyone know if LFT takes a lot longer to dry out a ding, compared to regular epoxy? I think I've read that other Firewire boards (FST) can take weeks or even months to completely dry out, but I wasnt sure if extra time is needed for the LFT type also.

The ding is right on the edge of the tail, so i wanted to be extra sure the repair is solid. But now hurricane Larry is on the way and i still haven't fixed the battle scars from Henri yet.

Letdown Larry passed by without the epic surf they were predicting. So I guess I have some extra time to fix the board.. might just let it dry out for a couple months and practice my groveler/hybrid in overhead surf
