Cracks on rail

Hi, guys. My board fell in the garage and it cracked the rail, about eight inches or so down from the nose. I’ve attached a photo. Epoxy board. The area you see is about as long as my little finger. The marks above and below are really just surface scratches. The crack in the middle is about as wide as a fingernail and very shallow. But is that foam showing through? I know the picture looks rough but the whole thing is pretty shallow and since it’s on the rail in an area that doesn’t get a lot of stress, was hoping I could just epoxy resin it. Will that be enough? It’s not a high end board, I only surf a couple times a month and don’t want to sink a lot of money into it. Would appreciate any thoughts. Thanks!!

Simple , cheap , a solar cure epoxy resin, preferable one with fibreglass in the mix, sand the edges well to ensure grip of the resin , sand back after the repair and if you wish to make it pretty use a spray can finish to cover the difference :D
