Surfing Waves

Dinged my longboard when walking into the front door of my apartment. Im pretty bummed about it, but want to figure out if I should repair.

I can just barely catch my fingernail on the largest crack, but I can’t stick a finger into the cracks and pick at them.

I have some solarrez, but unsure how to use it on something like this, or if it’s worth it.

What kind of board is this? Brand or construction. It looks to me like it needs a repair but there are many ways boards are made and some of them this may just be cosmetic damage

Thicker Glassing ? Did you have them do extra glassing on your order form on top of the base glassing? Usually a long board has 6+6/6 glassing ( 6 oz. bottom and 2 layers of 6 on the deck ). Some add additional deck patch for knee paddling.

It looks to me that it’s going to allow water into the foam so at the very least needs to be resined over

simple test: put your lips (unless dirty) right up to the crack and suck in, if you can then you need to fix it, if you can't then maybe just the top layer of resin cloth cracked. Then again, if you take it to a shop they will make it look like it was never there.
