Wetsuit repair

I'm finally done with all my ding repairs (for now)! But suddenly I found a problem with my wetsuit. The seam is gone on the backside of the knee on one of the legs. The wetsuit is as almost as good as new, but just over the 1 year warranty limit. I guess a loose end of the blind stitch has unraveled more and more, and suddenly it's gone. The original glue holds the two panels together, but I'm afraid it will tear. What is the best way to repair it?

1. Buy some thread and try to stitch in the orignal pathways of the blind-stitch with a curved needle
or
2. Use iron-on patch to strenghten the bond between these two panels

It's a hooded 6/5, with taped seams on the inside.

I bought one of those wetsuit repair kit. Just some kind of neoprene glue. I just slather all over it to make sure there is no holes. It works super well.

Careful with the neoprene glue on the inside seam - it can be a bit lumpy and rub on your skin. If you are careful then a small dab might be ok for that repair

Otherwise you can just sew that up (a normal straight needle is fine) using dental floss as the thread. Then put some glue on the outside

Thanks dtc. The taped seam is fine on the inside. Its just the outside thread thats missing. But im a bit afraid to make holes, in case I go to deep with the needle. Just one tiny pinhole will make it very cold.

Ah, for some reason I thought the suit was inside out. In that case just splosh some wetsuit glue on it
