6ft7 Gerard Dabbadie. Doesnt say much else about it.

Have only been surfing twice so far, and am well on my way to popping up (currently GETTING up, then wiping out  ) .

Had a go on a short board last week and it seemed hellishly easier to do anything with than the longer ones.

I'm 5ft4 and weigh 74kg (dunno what that is in lbs)

Cheers all

by little waves
it looks like a good wide board, so it should be good for you. being such a beginner you may find it a little tricky/wobbley to paddle and stand on at first, but with the width that it has, you should be able to pick it up. just dont get frustrated, keep trying with it. with shorter boards you need to paddle a little harder/faster to catch the wave.

How thick is it?
From the shape, it looks like it should be reasonably thick (2 3/4" maybe?) which will give you plenty of volume which is as important as length/width etc when choosing a board.

If its less than 2 3/4" then it might not be a great board for a beginner but if its about that, then you should be okay :D

Difficult to tell from that little picture though!
