Is this board trash or is it repairable?

I bought a used 6’ foam board for 60$ the other day. I didn’t really get a good look at it when I picked it up but I notice now it’s got a lot of cracks and a few punctures on the bottom of the board. I’ve got a bunch of other boards but I bought this one just to have another soft top for the kids to use. Is this fixable or did I get swindled?

see if you can find a board of a similar type, pick it up , is your board much heavier? If so spend your next dollars on beer not repairs.

A foamy will still float sort of even with s lot of water but will require serious dragging to get to the beach.

Then your board is a hybrid soft top /hard bottom board. The bottom is not plastic like most softboards, it is a very thin layer of fiberglass that's basically all shatters.

"Q: What are INT softboards made of?

A: All INT softboards have a closed cell iFoam core. All of our board decks (tops) and rails (sides) are made of polyethylene foam. Our soft bottom boards have high density polyethylene bottoms and our hard bottom boards are made with epoxy and fiberglass, using traditional surfboard glassing techniques."

I have never seen anyone repair / or replace a shattered bottom.
