Mens Booties Zipper or Pull On?

Hello
I found what seem to be decent budget booties and was wondering are zippers preferred, or pull on with a velcro strap?

Most people suggest getting a bootie slightly too small, as it will stretch. So a zip makes it easier to put it on, keeping in mind that its already going to be a bit tight. However, I dont think it makes a huge difference

You know how some surfers ( including myself ) sometimes drag their feet outboard of the rail. Seems that the big zipper pull is right the area that comes in contact with the board.

I agree, that zipper would wind up dinging my board or my ankle eventually!

Dude, zippers are acceptable for divers, but not surfers because they : 1) leak and you'll feel cold water (maybe even cramp), and 2) are not as flexible as neoprene, which is a problem.
Read my lips (ha, ha, only makes sense to Old Guys), no zipper on booties!
