Wetsuit Key Pocket

Is it just me or do key pockets not exist on wetsuits anymore? I had a 4/3 hyperfreak that I got maybe 8 years ago and that was the last one I’ve seen that had one. Maybe it’s just me but I’d prefer my key safe in a pocket rather than on a string around my neck waiting to stab me or tucked into my leash giving me ankle contusions.

Sorry, late to party. I do not have good fortune to surf in areas that do not require wet suit. One wet suit and two leashes have key pockets. I do not trust them. I wear my truck key around my neck and inside my wet suit. My necklace is literally a string from an old boot.

I just bought a Rip Curl Omega and it doesn't seem to have a key pocket. Where are the key pockets usually located, so I can take a closer look, maybe I just missed it.

Usually the calf!
I just realized all my current rip curl wetsuits are bomb variations. Probably, your Omega does not have it after all.
My old dawn patrol may have had one on the inside. But I am not sure. I may be confusing it with with my another old wetsuit (quicksilver).
Sorry for confusing you before.
Anyway, you may use your boardshort’s pocket instead.
