Surfboard repair tip, strechmarks on glass

I need help to see if I need to repair my surfboard and how I would go about it. Those small strechmarks appeared on the bottom of my board. I want to find out if it's an urgent problem and how to fix it. It looks yellow cause of the lighting but it's still pretty white. 6'6 Al Merrick poly board. Thanks for the tips

Those are stress cracks (most likely), the board has bent /buckled a bit. However they don’t go all the way across, which is typical from a buckle, so have you scraped the board or are you tying it down on a roof rack?

Do they do all the way through ie will let water in? Doesn’t look like it but hard to tell from a photo.

The key is firstly to make it water tight if needed. Secondly to see if it’s structural (the board is weaker) or just aesthetic (cracking on the surface).

Even if it’s bad it can be fixed with some appropriate reglassing, but whether you need to or not depends on whether the cracking is all the way through and whether you think its due to bending or just an impact/pressure

They don't go all the way through the glass, it's not taking in water but since the cracking is on both sides like you said it probably did bend and it cracked the glass just a little bit. So do you recomend maybe putting one 4oz cloth on the cracked area? I would preffer not to take off the cracked glass.

And if someone were recommending for you to do that, how would you go about doing it ? Have you laminated fiberglass before ? The reason why I ask is if you haven't and want to take it to a repair shop, most likely they won't do it and turn you down and talk you out of it. If you do do it yourself, how will you get the new 4 oz. layer to sit flush if you do not sand all the way down to the original fiberglass cloth layer ?

If it ain't leaking, just surf it. More are bound to happen. And if the lines go from rail to rail, it's going to snap anyways.
