GTFO. Tech is amazing! Granted, the board probably sucks, but it certainly seems like a great invention! I’d ride that if I didn’t have anything else!

Good find. I've seen inflatable 9'2" SUPs and inflatable Bodyboards, but this seems perfect for riding the trains in Japan.

Anyone heard of BodyGlove though? My friend sent me a link to this inflatable board the other day. I was excited at first but then I think it would break easily in my local beach as it is very common to collide with other surfers. The fins might cut it easily? Plus I don't think a inflatable board would give the same feeling as riding a hard or soft top.

Body Glove surf stuff has been around for yonks, and ther have been other inflatable surfboards the Uli was one.

So on a Train board in bag pump device in bag, wetsuit, towel, sounds feasible.

Inflatable, means bumping in crowded less injurious.
Lastly new meaning , the surf is pumping!

I’ve been around a lot of ‘rigid inflatable boats’ (RIBs) recently and they use a thick tough outer layer than is pretty hard when fully inflated. If this board uses that kind of material as it’s oiter skin then it would be hard to cut / damage if another board ran into it.

I would wonder at its ability to retain air - you don’t want to have to head to shore ever 30 min to pump it up a bit more.

And it’s not going to have any ‘fancy’ concaves or rails - even on the promo video it’s being carefully nursed through the turns.

But it’s probably a bit of fun in the right conditions. And can’t you return anything to Costco without explanation? Give it a go

They still make quality products. I have a zipper less 3/2 wetsuit I just bought this year. It’s superior quality!
