1. dog leash
2. clothes line and, once upon a time, wire for drying art prints
3. wee kids' jump rope
4. tie down rope in cargo area of SUV

Oh! we have to be useful? I guess I won't post the one I was thinking of that takes gold out of the saltwater so you make money while you surf.
The shark repellent would be useful as well as the air supply but the air supply on a leash not useful unless you can figure out a way to run a line from your ankle to your head area and not get in the way isn't going to work
