There’s someone in my area selling a lost Firewire stealth for $150 practically brand new, it’s 5’10 with 24.4 liters of volume, and I’m an intermediate surfer looking to use it in decent to good waist to head high surf. I’m 5’11 150 pounds, would this be a good board to get? Or is it too thin for me. Any info on how it performs would be appreciated as well. Thanks guys!

Steph Gilmore is 146lb and surfs a 24.2l board. Kelly slater is 160lb and surfs a 24l board

So if you are roughly their level, then sure, go for it :-D

Maybe have a read here first

You are asking too open ended questions. "Well this be ?" "Can it ?" "is it good?" Lost Driver , Lost Stealth, Volume this, volume that. The only one who can answer the question is YOU. A surfboard is a TOOL. Like a bat, paint brush, computer, it is up to the user to make the device "perform". You are just reaching for someone to give you VALIDATION that you're making the right decision on which board to get, when really no one can but yourself. ( unless you've already been suckered in by the marketing hype )
That said, if you are an "intermediate" level surfer trying to ride a too high performance board, you'll just be wasting your money ( and waves you miss ). But for $150, that's a really good deal. For that price if you end up not liking it, you can resell it and get your money back. But think about it, why would someone sell a "practically brand new " board for that price ? TOO GOOD of a deal, if you get what I mean.

That’s a snapped price....be really careful and inspect it closely.

Like they say about "Too good to be true..." That's half the volume of my board. They'd call that in my surf shop "too chippy" i.e. too much like a potato chip.

The other question I’d be asking is: what are you as an “Intermediate” surfer capable of doing in your surfing?
If you haven’t got a good set of skill ( read above intermediate) welcome to wallow land.
Next truly ask yourself , why so Cheap? And if you can’t see flaws or reasons are you buying stolen goods?
