but... hey hey hey..... looks like texas may be getting, of all things, ground swell! and *gasp* offshores?! haha we'll see if the predictions hold up, the wind I'm definitely not counting on. So far away I probably shouldn't even say anything.

Why would you want to add a rail Crusher onto your rail Saver ? By the way, the leash rope is too long.

How will that reach your fin box?

Like WKK said, not only will that crush the rail if it gets trapped in between the board and the cord, the cord is too long and I wonder if that is why the tail has the damage pictured.

They make single fin screws that can be loosened and tightened with your fingers in case you want to push the fin forward or back mid sesh.......change your screw to one of those if that is what you are after, if not then the question is why would you want to have a fin key in the lineup?

If you NEED a fin key tool with you out in the surf, you might want to check out the opposite end of the rail saver. I’m surprised how many surfers have owned leash cords for years and not knew there’s a house key/ fin key pocket in the ankle strap. ( although comp cords usually don’t have )

Oh, Waiki & Big H,
you guys are just throwing wet kelp! I rarely paddle out without my full assortment of hand tools (photo below). You guys will be sorry when you can't find your exit from a barrel, can't hold position due to longshore drift, or who knows what! You'll be thinking, "Dang, where dat poi headed kook billie? i need to borrow his 19 mm box wrench or I can't go la la!" Then you'll be sorry.

billie... hope you aren't carrying around your tools on the fishing SUP and calling it surfing!

I get people wanting a flat head screwdriver to adjust the center fin in the lineup, but fin keys??? One time I forgot to tighten the screws but didn't have a fin key or a allen wrench in my car. I had to drive to a surfshop in a wetsuit (so kooky I know) with my kids also in their wetsuits. One of them had the gloves on in addition to the 4/3 wetsuit but didn't want to take them off during the 3 min ride each way in a hot car (it was a sunny day but water was supposed to be cold) and he had a miner heat stroke by the time we got back on the beach :bang: I now keep a fin key on my key chain.
