Surfing Waves

Has anybody tried Apple Watch for surfing? Does it survive the waves? Saw some videos on YouTube but they are not informative

Has to be an Apple Watch 2 or later which I have. Trust it for swimming and still water SUPing but surf, nah don’t want to risk it!

Many thanks! Almost recovered!
Tried my Apple Watch in the ocean! It’s f-working! Had a couple phone calls and a lot of texting. Not that much surfing though:)

Glad your back and your Apple Watch are ok , rinse both after a surf in fresh water, don’t forget to press the clean speakers blue drop,icon and turn bezel until your watch beeps :lol:

Dawn patrol! But it does not count strokes. At least, in my case. I could not have figured the settings properly though. As for wave count, it seems accurate.
