Surfing Waves

I saw a 9.2 south point in a surf shop.
It looks fine with some paint issues.
Does a noserider have any disadvantages?
How old could it be! I guess they stopped producing 9.2 a while ago.
How to calculate volume and where to look for thickness?

"It looks fine with some paint issues." - that's just the clear top sheet getting scratched off. Wet sand and rattle can matte white should help.
"Does a noserider have any disadvantages?" - anything and everything has advantages and disadvantages. It depends what your goal is. The 9'2" Southpoint has a slight concave under the nose, but it's rocker and overall outline is more "all-around" shape, not a pure noserider.
"How old could it be!" - need to see the top graphics to be sure, but maybe 10-15 years old. That's the advantage of molded-epoxy since they're so durable. The disadvantage is you don't keep buying new boards.
"I guess they stopped producing 9.2 a while ago." Yes and No. That board was made when Southpoint was the longboard line and NSP was the Fun board and Shortboard line under the same company. Later Southpoint became it's own line and NSP put longboards under the same logo. You can basically get the same board now with up graded FCS compatible side plugs instead of the bolt-thru the deck MT system. You can get FCS adapters for that used older 9'2".
"How to calculate volume and where to look for thickness?" - since it's basically the same board, you can use the current info. 9'2" x 22 7/8" x 3 3/16" 75.4 L. vol

I was surprised to see no ding repairs as it looks quite old overall!

My goal is to have another board for smaller waves and catch more waves in general. Do think its fins arrangement is inferior to the modern one?

Just forgo the side bites and run it as a Single fin. If need be, you can get adapters to run what ever FCS side fins you want. ( but don't ride into shore as they pop out of the adapters if you run them into the sand easier then the normal FCS plugs. )
