Rear fin allignment Q

Postby Broosta » Fri May 06, 2005 7:42 am

Ok just got my 6'2" thruster back from having the FCS rear fin plugs replaced. Only I noticed that when I put a fin in it is 1mm out of cetral allignment, so if you drew a line all the way to the nose it would be about 1" to the right of centre. I have only used it once since the 'repair' and it was a really small shite sesh so I did not get on well and not sure if the fin made things worse or not.
So the question is, is the fin being twisted by 1mm likely to totally screw the ride up? :?

Hmm think you're right dude, cos I just had another sesh in small weak waves today and I'm thinking it is slowing the board down at least.
Cheers, will have a look at swaylocks when I got time.
