Repair: Crack along Stringer

Hi Everyone,

Just bought a used board. After cleaning the old wax off it, I found a small crack running along the stringer. A pressure dent right next to the stringer caused the corner of the stringer to stress the glass. There does not appear to be any water damage. I'm not trying to level the dent back out, just to reinforce the glass, the board is pretty old and kind of a beater.

Pics are attached.

What would anyone suggest for repair here? I would rather try and fix it at home unless anyone suggests otherwise.

Thanks!

Clean off the wax, clean with alcohol, use a dremmel to make a small line that goes a little deeper, pour in solareze and let dry in the sun.

I usually have stringer dings repaired because it will break again due to the location, when the shop fixes it they add a layer of fiberglass to strengthen it. But if it's a beater then might as well treat it as such

I actually just sanded it down and put a little patch of glass over it and sanded that to match.

Practically unnoticeable and has held nicely over a few months.
