Hi, so im having a
Simon anderson xfc 6'1 18 1/4 2 3/16 26l model that i ll sell.. im looking for something with a wider nose and abit more stability..
nxt month im in Bali and gonna get a new one.. i need to find a board that can ride everything between 3 and 8ft im travling all the time and can only have one board at the time so i need a good allround board... also putting a liter or 2 more volume seems good to me.. im 5.8ft and 150lbs..
The practical dimensions are still abit difficult to understand for me.. what happen if i add abit more wideness to the board?

I have one of these....check the shop called Kartel in Canguu on the way to Old Man's....they are cheap (4m), light and glassing is good. Mine is holding up well so far....it's wider than a shortboard, keeps hidden volume, but still has nice lines and likes good waves with enough rocker to work well here. I bought mine used from a guy who took it to G-land and he said it worked great as a step up there in overhead barrels....I've ridden it in shoulder high onshore mush and it worked in that as well. Mine is 6'4"x 20 1/2" x 2 3/4" @ 37L. They have a range of sizes; they have another model called the EVO which is more performance oriented. I'm really impressed with the quality / value, which is why I take the time to recommend this board (you aren't the first I've lauded it to)......contact Scott Harrison (owner of Kartel) on Facebook and he'll take care of you.

Sideways does a range of makes (including their own in-house brand), so not all the boards will be the same when it comes to glassing etc. but I have one board from Sideways and the quality is absolutely fine.

Is there any reason to add more volume to my board if i never struggle with balance and catching waves? I only surfed 5diffrent boards in my life and its so hard to decide the new dimensions for my next one..
