I am in northern Uruguay at the moment (La Paloma), and during a wipe-out my fin sliced a significant
hole into the leg of my wetsuit. Unfortunately, none of the local surf shops stock any glue for gluing neoprene,
so I am trying to figure out how to best patch the gash.
The local supermarket has various different South American brands, Poxipol, Novopren etc. - but the brand names
don't help much. The Poxipol stuff seems to be Bisphenol-based epoxy, I'll need to figure out the contents of Novepren
still.
My plan was to take black electric insulation tape (which they sell here in about 2-inch width) and glue it over the gash.
Can someone provide advice on what "ingredients" to look for when buying glue for use on a wetsuit in a country which has none of
the brands you know?

Cheers,
Thomas
