Ding question from a worried kook

Postby thejoete » Mon Nov 02, 2015 2:17 am

Hi guys,
Last week has been a rough time for my longboard. Long story short, the nose got a nasty ding that I had repaired no problem. Today I found a smaller ding on the tail and I just wanted to ask some advice if I need to have it repaired or if it's minor enough that no water can get through.

Attaching some photos for reference.

Cheers

Looks like it might have cracked through, so I'd definitely get that repaired. Easy job though - you could do it yourself with a ding repair kit. Or it'll be a cheap one to get professionally done if you want your board to look perfect 8)
You'll probably find me surfing, but if not, I'll probably be in the photography studio

Simple test , run your fingernail across the ding if it clicks or flicks you need to fix

That ding is on the edge of your board where it is likely to be dinged again. You need to fix it and make it strong once again.
So what is worse.... dying or regretting it for the rest of my life? Obviously I chose not regretting it.

Thanks everyone! The glass definitely is cracked but I don't know how deep it goes. Might as well get it fixed to be safe!
