quick repair

I've just bought another super-cheap board. Due to living in an apartment building with no outdoor space I am kind of limited in the repairs I can perform .Not having been very good in previous Sun-cure attempts, and being that I have tons of board repair stickers ,and lastly, because I have a plastic material that can form upon boiling.I want to repair the sharp nose which has about 1/2 inch on one side chipped off, and also, in the process, make a nose-guard with the supplies I have. I'm thinking about forming the plastic over the nose, including filling the missing part, then using Amazing Goop to glue it together, hoping it holds and it's waterproof.
I've made a tail cap from that on another board and it is still holding together, so I'm thinking the goop might work to stick the homemade cap. I'm not looking for perfect repairs for the board, just something watertight.
Has anyone used Amazing Goop to seal any dings? Any other sealant/glue combo you recommend that is safe to use indoors?

If you want cheap and easy home depot sells fiberglass repair that has the consistency of peanut butter. After you add the catalyst wait until it starts to set then gently shape it (with gloves on) using your fingers. I did that once, it was ugly but at least there is no sanding involved.

I use a marine epoxy that is similar....two parts, both peanut butter like. Sets in 10min after mixing 1 and 2 50-50. What I use is sandable and has held up; repairs seem permanent....no degradation that I can see on repairs done months ago. Is great for those small dings that you just don't want to go through the hassle, time and cost for a shop repair. Not pretty though especially on a board that has any kind of spray; it is off white so blends into white boards more or less, but is not aesthetically pleasing on a painted board so that is a consideration if that is something that you consider.
