I just found this very nice youtube video of the making of a chambered paulownia surfboard. Worth sharing I thought.

Each board I create is unique so I like to name them. "Bogong" is named after the large 4 winged moth found in Australia."

I've seen some in line-ups and they look the business....beautiful boards with stoked owners.....

That's news to me, looks nice. Very different production process it seems.

Anyway, in the end i think I would prefer a Timbertek Firewire. That has the looks and lightweight high performance.

My Firewire Addvance has a Bamboo deck, very nice. Hurts to put wax on..

If you ever get to see a Vince in person you'll understand the attraction......the difference between the timbertek Firewire and a real wooden board is like the difference between a wood veneer table and teak. They do warehouse clearances once a year; I'll post up the next time I hear about one and maybe your interest will be piqued...

Functionality over looks for me, but murah sekali always has a strong appeal to me

It's a good question.....never asked how much....I did ask an owner of one if he liked his board....he said he loved it (surfed it well too).

Roy Stuart (google him) makes similar boards. Very much works of art, even if somewhat unusual designs (Roy has some very strong opinions on surfboards)
