Help Identifying and Pricing a Board

Postby freezinglemons » Sat May 09, 2015 11:53 pm

Hello, I am not a surfer and was given this surfboard, I have no idea how to identify it and was wondering if you guys could help me out.
Any information would be very helpful.
Thanks!

It's made by 'wave riding vehicles'; on their website their new boards are just over $500. Yours seems to have a few repairs, can't see them very well but the one on the edge doesn't look very professional. It's a v small board so probably suited to a teenager, which may limit its sellability (although teenagers may well want second hand). Can't tell how old it is.

Its value will depend mostly on its condition and also where you are.

Are you planning to sell it? Why were you given it?

It's a 6 foot 1inch shortboard with glassed in fin thruster. The three fins in that configuration are called thrusters and they appear to be glassed in which might make it fairly old (so worth less money). The board is 6 foot 1 inch long and apparently from the glimpses it would be called a shortboard. Can't really see the tail section but the shape of the tail would also identify it to surfers.
So what is worse.... dying or regretting it for the rest of my life? Obviously I chose not regretting it.
