Simple answer, first do not buy from the net on eBay or Craig's list!
Go to a shop and try the various sizes in each brand.
The fit should be snug not loose
Different brand have different cuts, there is quite a bit of information about wetsuits on the forum have look as to what is suggested. We don't know where you are going to surf so we cannot recommend thickness.
If you get sizing down then look at last years models as they are often good and marked down in price.
If you are in the UK surfing waves shop and you know you brand and size. Bingo

Elsewhere if the shop treats you well buy there, establish a relationship with you local shop and shapers :D

I am also 120 pounds but I am 5'2". I take a Men's XS for US brands. ( sometimes the Boys 16-18 fits too ). But if you are 6 foot and only 120 pounds, your build is very thin. You will run into problems with water flushing thru the neck. Think about getting a inner made of Polypro or 0.5mm titanium to be warmer and take up some of the looseness.

Get one that fits you. Different wetsuits makes are different shapes and consequently some makes fit some people better than others.
Go and try some on is the advice.

Go to the shop and try! If you can not then check the size charts (like here). These days the neoprene is so flexible that your size chart based guess can be even a bit off and the fit will still be great, unless you have a non average body type. You will see its not just the weight and height but also waist and shoulder width.
