Okay, so I have bee nscouring the interweb and I cannot seem to find a 9'3" board bag, I can find 9'2" and 9'6".
I have measured my board and although it say it's 9'3" according to my measure it's just slightly over 9'2", so how much 'wiggle' room do oyu get in a boardbag? Will mine fit in a 9'2" bag or is it a snug fit?
I am not going to risk £60 plus postage for a bag that may not fit!

Hey Carb,

Just a thought, why not grab yourself a board sock? and just wrap it in some bubble wrap before putting it in?

It depends...some board makers make their bags a few inches longer than advertised, because boards can be an inch or two off their claimed measurment. But do not...

However, there is no reason not to get a 9ft6 bag. Those few extra inches wont be noticeable and won't cause any problems

Besides for the extra inches you can wrap boardshorts and/or a towel or two around the nose and tail, extra padding.
Board bags are made in generic sizes otherwise there would be a bag for every inch in length and thickness.

Cheers guys. I'll get myself the 9'6" then as Uncle Jaffa says I can put in extra padding.
Didn't make it out this weekend as I had to make some repairs to my van, but the swell is still around this week and the waves are bigger on Saturday so will be loading up and heading out to the south coast and testing out the new boards! If I manage to get any photos of me or missus then I'll post them.
