Board short agony

Postby ekajati » Wed Aug 07, 2013 8:43 pm

Dear All

After years of humming and ha-ing I am joining my windsurf mad brother and his family in Greece. I have never windsurfed before, and am going to give it a go. I am old (48) "large" (12 waist but 14 hips at least) and unfit so I'm the classic "don't wear shorts" shape. Normally wild horses, loaded guns etc would not persuade me to get into a pair of shorts but I'm told that for windsurfing that is what I need!!! Most of the women's shorts seem to be teeny tiny and for people with no hips. Does anyone have any (kind, please!) advice on which style and make of boardshort would be best for my shape? Preferably cheap ones under £30 since I might not even like windsurfing?

Many thanks!

Hi

I have plenty of knee length board shorts, just keep googling! Under £30 may be a bit of a push though. I tend to find the sizes are quite generous.

Good Luck!
